After having my two babies, I knew that going back to work full-time was something I did not want to do. I also had picked up crocheting during my first maternity leave and instantly fell in love with it. I knew that it was a hobby that would stick. At first, it was something I did when I wanted to wind down at the end of the day. After about a year of crocheting, I started my instagram @ssquaredcreations, and from there doing local orders and markets, just a couple here and there. After about 6 months of local orders, I decided to open an online shop, where I would eventually sell my own patterns. Little did I know, that my pattern designing journey would be so successful. So after 3 months of pattern designing, I was able to make the decision to stay home once my maternity leave ended, and pursue this little business of mine. To say I am blown away by the success is an understatement, and I feel incredibly blessed to be able to pursue something I truly love doing, while staying home with my littles and helping support my family.
